The Break Is Now Over

IIt has been several months since I posted to this blog and I have no excuse other than I needed a bit of a break.  Now that the break is over I am happy to be back again and sharing some images of beautiful design.   

As always I will talk about and share the magical balance between old and new…it has become a bit of a passion of mine and I hope to impart a bit of that passion to you. 

To start things off I wanted to share a few images that represent the beauty of combining  time tested antiques and traditional design with new, contemporary pieces ….maybe we should call this style ‘Antiquemporary’.  This style always resonates with me.  The balance that is created by blending different periods of time is fundamentally ‘correct’ in my opinion and I will never tire of it.  

(Oh, and while we're at it...let's use a beautiful, stunning pink as the backdrop for today.)

So, 'antiquemporary'...what do you think?  

Will it stick?
 Have I coined a new phrase?
Time will surely tell.
