A Beautiful Column Cabinet

I had the great pleasure of working with a client in Massachusetts with the most impeccable taste.  He was looking for a column cabinet and it had to be of just the right proportions, quality and finish.  This was a challenge I was happy to accept.

With a bit of research I located a piece that I thought would be perfect.  The style and finish were just the right balance of classic and rustic.  It had substantial proportions, appropriate storage and fantastic detail in the reed carved body.

After presenting him with a few images and listening to my description, he trusted me and gave the ok to go ahead and purchase the piece in Sweden.  We had it shipped over and once I saw it in person I was even more excited and please with the selection.  It truly was perfect.

  

He recently sent me these images of the column cabinet in his home and, I must say, the space is breathtaking.  His use of classical pieces, painted finishes, subtle touches of gilt, and exceptional fabrics all combine to create an extraordinary environment.
