Yesterday morning was special because I had the great pleasure of meeting

Katy’s warmth and fine eye for quality was the perfect match for me because I found her easy to talk to and her appreciation for the beauty and quality of fine antiques was apparent. We share a love of renovation and an appreciation for the beauty and charm of historic homes…so we had a lot to talk about!

Katy also takes us along as she transforms her home's landscaping. Through this process Katy collects many of her ideas from garden tours and visits to some of the nicest greenhouses in

Katy’s love of cooking and creating beautiful things is seen in her creative recipes made with local and organic produce, the many DIY projects, and posts on beautiful textiles.

It was such a treat to meet Katy and Mary Jane at Avolli and I look forward to having more opportunities to spend time with this truly lovely blogger, publishing professional and lifestyle arbiter extraordinaire!

Tricia, what a fun visit. Your warehouse looks great. I want to make a trip up! Hope you are doing better.
Thank so much for having me! Your so lovely and sweet!
That bathroom is beautiful!! Stunning design. x
How fun that you got to meet a blogging friend!!! Great pictures. I want to come for a visit!!
Hey Tricia, what a gorgeous blog, you have some wonderful pics here! I've subscribed now, so I'll see them as they come along (which I love). And BTW, our pup isn't a Bernese Mountain Dog, it's Cavalier King Charles Spaniel ("Cav"), a tri-colour, which is very similar in colours to your pups. But a tad smaller (aka a toy dog). In my pic, I had pushed his ears back for a bit of fun, and that's why he resembles your pup so much in that pic, otherwise, his big floppy ears would have given him a way in a heartbeat! But they are both beautiful dogs, no doubt about that!
One of the most wonderful things about blogging is getting to know another blogger and then meeting in person. I am off to visit Katy.
Hope that your back is all better now and behaving!

How exciting to meet someone from the blogging world!
Wow, I just browsed through your website and you have created some truly beautiful spaces! Thanks for the inspiration :)
Tricia, how fun! Both to see your warehouse filled with stunning antiques and to learn more about Kathy E!
Such a lovely post!
I am just back from Massachusetts and one of the delights was to visit Salem and Marblehead, I have taken tons of pictures and slowly work my way through to post on some of the fantastic places we have seen. I have been to Maine as well, what a beautiful country side!
Still feel like changing my life and move to New England!
( Well, in my dreams...)
So nice to read your posts again!
Love - Victoria
Oh my! What beautiful pictures. And your warehouse. I'm in love. Seriously, elements of Swedish decor have always appealed to me - and I'm not sure where to start. I'd love to incorporate some pieces into my home. I'm thinking first of a MORA CLOCK. So pretty.
