Polychrome is one of the terms used to describe the use of multiple colors in one entity. Most often, the term is used in conjunction with certain styles of architecture during the Victorian era.


The Mora clock is a Swedish interpretation of the Rococo style and first appeared during the mid-eighteenth century. Forced to supplement their incomes, many farmers and their families turned to clock making, often specializing in one particular component. Some would create the cases while others would paint the faces. There are many different shapes, all named after the region of the country they originated from.
