A beautiful Swedish secretary in two parts from mid 1800's with a simple yet stately pediment over two raised panel doors that open to reveal three standard shelves and one spoon shelf. The lower section has four drawers and a drop front writing surface that reveals a fitted interior with eleven drawers, one door and two "pigeon hole" niches. Gustavian Mirror - Sweden, 1st Quarter 19th Century

A skillfully restored antique Swedish mirror from the first quarter of the 19th century. Surmounted with a carved ribbon detail, the mirrors frame has a beautiful pediment with egg & dart carving above a delicate pearl band. This pearl carving is repeated around a diminutive oil painting on canvas depicting four maids.
