A stately waxed pine chest of drawers from Denmark, featuring extensive carving detail which begins at the top with crown-like embellishments surmounting the first drawer. Below this drawer, which has narrow proportions, is delicate dental carving detail which surmounts three nicely proportioned drawers that are flanked on each side with beautifully carved columns. Below this is the fifth, and largest drawer, which sits upon the claw foot base with lyre and leaf applied carving. A truly unique and special piece.
